It is hard to believe, but in WA there already exists the power to forcefully administer vaccinations.

Introduced as a Bill by the then State Liberal Government (specifically Kim Hames) back in November 2014, the Public Health Act 2016 allows for “serious public health incident powers”.

Those powers allow for an ‘authorised officer’ to have someone forcibly restrained for the purpose of administering a vaccination.

I have no idea how the above fits in with the stated Number 1 belief of the Liberal Party.

Maybe it should be, “the rights and freedom of all people unless the government determines otherwise“.
